Senior Consultant ESIA
RPS is hiring a senior consultant ESIA to support the principal consultant and closely work with the local ESIA team on the project given by the client to deliver ESIAs internationally standard in markets like Africa, Asia, South America, and many others in O&G and energy transition. The senior consultant can prepare and management of ESIAs. The duty of a senior consultant provides support to customers to ensure the objectives of the project are met.
Responsibilities
Contribution to coordination and structuring of social and environmental impact assessment.
Preparation of social and environmental management plans
Project tasks development related to social and environmental impact assessment
Support to the senior team
According to the project, the plan provides technical input for the project
Technical input is provided for proposals
Qualification
Knowledge of IFC PS
Knowledge about international policy related to ESIA
Ability to write well-structured documents, reports,s, and project
Excellent communication and working skills
Excellent knowledge of MS office
Proficiency in French is advantageous
Ability to engage with stakeholders and willingness to travel in the United Kingdom
Principal Consultant ESIA

Job Description
You will be responsible for delivering and managing social and environmental impact assessment
Accompanying social and environmental management plans
Undertake and lead reviews and assessment
Deliver and manage IFC-compliant monitoring and survey methods
Delivery of project output management including impact assessment, due diligence, periodic monitoring report, scoping report, and other studies
Undertake social and environmental due diligence
Engagement with national regulators and financial institution
Health and safety insurance
Provide direction to international projects
Lead and support the identification of new opportunities
Qualification
Excellent experience in preparing and managing social and environmental impact assessments for development projects
Experience in preparing management plans and ESIA studies according to IFC PS
Experience in engagement with stakeholders including engineers, project managers, clients, and other stakeholders
Experience in working with project specialists to ensure results of social and environmental studies and activities lead to an analysis of alternatives and design process
Candidate have proficiency in French is advantageous
Ability to engage with stakeholders
Experience with wind energy projects as well as near shore, land-based and offshore infrastructure development project requirements
The candidate has experience in implementing the social and environmental management systems
The candidate has excellent experience in communicating with communities, stakeholders, and government officials
Experience in stakeholder engagement and resettlement
The candidate has must-line management experience
International Tax Accountant
RPS announced a new job opportunity named as an international tax accountant for an experienced tax professional to assist the UK and international tax compliance. You will be responsible for international project management. The location of this job is flexible. You will report to the head of tax and you will work closely with the UK tax accountant and project management and the energy team.
Job Description
Operating group working on an international project you will provide tax compliance support to them.
You will ensure that tax risk is correctly factored in.
Assist in research of tax documents and basic tax issue conclusion
You have to ensure that filing requirements are met in all locations
You have to review financial reports, accounting data, and supplemental information
Review issues related to the tax treatment
Review tax return
Coordinate storage of tax returns
Assist in reviewing and preparing tax forms
Assist with tax notice and audits
Assist with UK tax accountant
This role includes daily interaction with the finance, tax, and operation department.
