ABOUT PAKISTAN AIR FORCE
Pakistan Air Force is the branch of Pakistan armed forces, tasked with the aerial defense of Pakistan, providing air support to the Pakistan army and Pakistan navy when needed. The headquarters of the Pakistan air force is in the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad. The chief of the Pakistan air force is air marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar. The joint chief of all the armed forces of Pakistan is General Zubair Hayat. The total size of PAF is 70,000 persons, 8000 reserves, and 128 civilians. PAF is established in 1947 and involves many combat operations providing aerial support to the Pakistan military. The President of Pakistan is the chief commander of Pakistan's armed forces. Moto of Pakistan air force is “A symbol of pride for the nation” and anniversary day of PAF is 7september. Engagements of PAF include the indo-Pakistani war of 1947, the indo-Pakistani war of 1957, the Bangladesh liberation war, the indo-Pakistani war of 1971, the Cargill war, the Arab-cold war, conflicts in the middle east, the gulf war, internal conflicts, Afghanistan war, Sri Lankan civilian war, united nations missions. PAF has many aircraft which are given below;

PAF JOBS DETAIL
Pakistan Air Force announced two types of jobs
· Permanent Commissions
· Short Service Commission
PERMANENT COMMISSION
The permanent service commission includes the following jobs which are given below in detail;
154 General Duty Pilot
Age = age required for this job is 16 to 22 years
Nationality = Male citizen of Pakistan
Height = 5 feet 4 inches
Eye vision = 6/6 for each eye
Qualification= candidate must have passed the following degree with a minimum of 60% marks
FSc (pre-engineering, pre-medical, computer science) or “A” level with physics and math
The training period is 4 years and the candidate is awarded BS Degree in Aviation Management
100 Aeronautical Engineering
Age = 16 to 22 years
Nationality = Pakistani
Marital status = unmarried
Height = 5 feet 4 inches (male) and 4 feet 10 inches (female)
Qualification= candidate must have passed the following degree with a minimum of 65% marks
FSc (pre-engineering, ) or “A” level with physics, chemistry, and math
The training period is 4 years and the candidate is awarded BS Degree in Aerospace
110 Air defense Course
Age = required age is16 to 22 years
Nationality =citizen of Pakistan
Marital status = unmarried
Height = 5 feet 4 inches (male)
Qualification= candidate must have passed the following degree with a minimum of 60% marks
FSc (pre-engineering, pre-medical, computer science) or “A” level with physics and math
The training period is 4 years and the candidate is awarded a BS Degree in Aviation Management
12 Logistics Course
Age = 16 to 22 years is the required age
Nationality = male and female citizens in Pakistan
Marital status = unmarried
Height = 5 feet 4 inches for males and 4 feet 10 inches for female
Qualification= candidate must have passed the following degree with a minimum of 60% marks
FSc (pre-engineering, pre-medical, computer science) or “A” level with physics and math
The training period is 4 years and the candidate is awarded a BS Degree in Aviation Management
29 Admin & Special Duties
Age = 16 to 22 years
Nationality = Pakistani
Marital status = unmarried
Height = 5 feet 4 inches for males and 4 feet 10 inches for female
Qualification= candidate must have passed the following degree with a minimum of 60% marks
FSc (pre-engineering, pre-medical, computer science) or “A” level with physics and math
The training period is 4 years and the candidate is awarded BS Degree in Aviation Management
SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION (SSC)
154 General Duty Pilot (SSC) Female
Age = 16 to 22 years
Nationality = Pakistani
Marital status = unmarried
Height = 5 feet 4 inches

Qualification= candidate must have passed the following degree with a minimum of 60% marks

130 Air defense
Age = 18 to 30 years
Nationality = Pakistani
Marital status = unmarried
Height = 5 feet 4 inches
Rank = Flying officer
Qualification= BSC/BS/BCS (4 years with physics compulsory)
Training period = 01 year
Admin & Special Duties Course
Age = 18 to 30 years
Nationality = Pakistani
Marital status = unmarried
Height = 5 feet 4 inches
Rank = Flying officer
Qualification= civil Eng. / BBA/BS
Training = 24 weeks
