When you can apply for New Zealand Scholarships program….?

When you completed one year of study at any university in New Zealand, you can apply for these scholarships. Each year, the New Zealand government conducts scholarship applications for international students. You must arrive at the study location before the courses start.

 You must complete your study within the time period set by the university for your chosen subject.

Conditions for Scholarships

For the Government of New Zealand scholarships program, you must meet all the conditions for scholarships. If you fail to meet these conditions you could lose your scholarships. Your attendance must be 80%, submit assignments on time, and participate in all exams.

Requirements for New Zealand Government Scholarships

A criterion is set by the ministry of foreign affairs and trade for the government of New Zealand scholarships. The details of all these requirements are given below;

Age

To apply for a New Zealand Government scholarship your age must be up to 18 years. If you are under 18 you cannot apply for these scholarships. And you must be under 40 if you are 40+ you cannot apply for these scholarships.

Academic Qualification

Successful applicants are those who must meet both requirements such as education and English language determined by each university. Before applying you must need to check that your education meets the educational requirements. The best option is that check the minimum education requirements for scholarships. Ph.D. students ensure latter from the supervisor,  and if you are at the interview stage you must provide evidence of contact with the supervisor.

English Language Requirements

If you are selected for New Zealand scholarships then you must provide your English language test score. If you provide English language test scores during university admission then it will be other otherwise you have to provide them. New Zealand Government accept English test from four testing system including;

IELTS (the international English language testing system)

TOEFL (the Test of English as a foreign language, must be passed)

PTE Academic (the Pearson test of English language)

Cambridge Academic English

If you passed any of one test during the last 12 months then you will be applicable for scholarships otherwise you cannot be selected for New Zealand scholarships. If you have undergraduate qualifications then you must have 6.5 bands in IELTS, an 80 score in TOEFL, and 169 scores on the Cambridge Academic English test. If you are shortlisted for the scholarship then New Zealand Government sponsors your English language test.



Experience Required

 Applicants who finished their high school a few years ago, they must provide work experience for scholarships. One year of work experience (30 hours per week) and two-year work experience (29 hours per week).

Experienced Not Required

Two types of scholarships in which work experience is not necessary;

Final year student of secondary school

A first-year student of tertiary study

These all documents are translated into the English language

Ph.D. students must provide a letter from the supervisor
